Key stage 1 moderators have been trained by the local authority to look at L1 – L3 in reading, writing and mathematics.
Key stage 2 moderators have passed the standardisation exercise set by the DfE and can moderate from L2 – L6. They have been trained by the local authority.
These practitioners are available to support schools in looking at children’s work using the current national curriculum level descriptors.
