Early years key messages
These key messages have been written in collaboration between early years professionals across Ealing to ensure families get consistent messages from all of the early years services that they access.
Whether a parent is talking to a health visitor, nursery practitioner, teacher, community nursery nurse or early start worker, these key messages will ensure families are given the same information, reducing confusion, and making their parenting journey a little easier.
The key messages are written for professionals, ensuring the latest information based on current research is shared with parents and families.
We encourage colleagues to read this information as this will support you when talking with families. Many families prefer to have a conversation with a professional rather than being signposted to a website or leaflet that they may never read.
The key messages are not designed to be handed to parents directly but should be used to support conversations between parents and practitioners in the context of supportive and collaborative relationships.
Additional links and resources are included and recommended for those that want to find out more.
