Cultural Education Partnership

The Cultural Education Partnership (CEP) aims to improve the cultural and artistic education of young people who live and/or study in Ealing, through connections between schools, the community, and cultural organisations that are based in the Borough.

The Questors Theatre is the new Lead Organisation for the CEP and Isaiah James-Mitchell and Ava Brewster have been appointed as the Cultural Education Partnership administrator and Cultural Education Partnership project lead respectively. While Isaiah is leading on the co-ordination of and relationship building for the CEP, Ava works part-time on helping to tailor and build the on the ground projects facilitated/organised by the CEP.

Supporting schools in Ealing

The CEP aims to alleviate the capacity problem that both those in the education and the arts & culture sectors experience. The job of the CEP Administrator is to do the grunt work for teachers and build relationships between cultural organisations and schools, making it easier for cultural provision to be more seamlessly incorporated into the curriculum.

Currently, Ealing's CEP has many eager cultural organisations waiting to work with schools and we hope to soon launch a CEP opportunity menu that allows local cultural organisations to state what they can offer schools within a certain budget, that schools can then apply for.

Ealing Arts Charter

Ealing Arts Charter, launched in 10 January 2023, is a public facing official document and commitment to whole school creative learning through the pupil experience guarantee (PEG).

It was launched by the Ealing Cultural Education Partnership, is endorsed by the Ealing Council, Ealing Learning Partnership and key cultural organisations in the borough, and shall continue to be championed by the Ealing CEP under the Questors Theatre.
